Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Westminster, MD. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive care environment while experiencing a new community.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Active Maryland Occupational Therapy License required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred.
No new graduates. Previous clinical experience as a licensed OT is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ADL retraining, wheelchair assessment, splinting, and cognitive rehabilitation preferred.
Familiarity with electronic medical records used in post-acute care preferred.
