We are looking for a responsible Physician Assistant to support the Doctor's work and actively facilitate patients' recovery.ResponsibilitiesAssess Patients health and their demandsIssue appropriate prescriptionsdecision making and diagnosis under Physician SupervisorInform Physicians about any problems or discrepancies that might ariseAcquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditionsMonitor patients' progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries, or other medical eventsAttend to emergenciesPre and post-operative educationFirst assistant during surgeriesInpatient rounding as neededCultivate a climate trust and compassion for the patientsComply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standardscollaborate effectively with team membersSkillsKnowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, therapy, and recoveryFamiliarity with advancement in medical technology and current know-howProblem solving skills and ability and multi-taskCaring and compassionateTeam player with good communication skillsBSc/MA in physician assistant studies, health science or medical scienceCandidate must meet licensure requirements for the State of Oregon and be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program,Position is Full-timeSalary Commensurate with experienceBenefits:401(k)Health InsuranceDental InsurancePaid Time OffVision InsuranceMedical specialtiesSurgery
