Must be willing to work on-site in Bethlehem, PA Job Requirements / Qualifications

Master's degree in Pathology Assistant studies (required) Minimum 1 year experience as a Pathology Assistant in a hospital or clinical laboratory Experience with surgical specimen gross examination (grossing) and autopsy assistance Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented pathology/laboratory environment Willingness to follow laboratory safety, quality assurance, and compliance procedures Key Responsibilities

Assist pathologists with preparation, gross examination, and dissection of surgical specimens (surgical pathology grossing) Perform autopsy procedures under the supervision of a pathologist Prepare and maintain accurate specimen records, pathology documentation, and gross descriptions Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards, quality control, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with pathologists, histology staff, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care and timely diagnosis This position is an excellent opportunity for Pathology Assistants seeking travel pathology work, hospital pathology jobs, or clinical laboratory roles in Pennsylvania.
