Requirements:

Active RN license
Graduate of accredited nursing program
BLS required
Previous addiction medicine, behavioral health, or outpatient experience preferred
Knowledge of substance use treatment and recovery principles preferred
Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care in outpatient addiction medicine/OTP setting
Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment progress
Administer medications and assist with medication-assisted treatment
Monitor for withdrawal symptoms and adverse reactions
Support providers in delivery of addiction treatment services
Educate patients on recovery, medications, and treatment plans
Maintain medication inventory and clinic safety standards
Document care and patient interactions in the EMR
