Requirements:

ACLS
BLS
CPI
NIHSS
3+ years of experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides professional, patient-centered nursing care by applying clinical knowledge, judgement, and skills to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Fosters an environment that is sensitive to each individual’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
Collaborates with members of the healthcare team, including patients, and members of their support system, to achieve optimal outcomes.
Practices within the scope defined by Section 4723.01 of the Ohio Revised Code, including assessing health status, executing nursing regimens, providing health counseling and teaching, administering prescribed treatments, and supervising or delegating nursing tasks.
Adheres to the Standards for Competent Practice of the Ohio Administrative Code, demonstrating competence and accountability in all areas of practice, recognizing and responding to complications, implementing valid orders, or seeking clarification when necessary, while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.
Manages and conducts care of 5-6 med/surg telemetry patients.
Functions under direct supervision of Department Manager and indirect oversight of Director of Nursing.
