Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to mothers during labor and delivery
- Support families through high-risk pregnancies with expert monitoring and guidance
- Assist with C-sections and inductions while ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with a dedicated team using a supportive nursing approach
- Monitor patients using advanced equipment including Alaris pumps and GE monitors
- Document care accurately in Meditech and CPN systems
Qualifications
- Active RN license with minimum 1 year of current acute care L&D experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN certification required
- Preferred experience circulating C-sections and managing high-risk labor scenarios
- Compassionate, solutions-oriented personality with strong patient care focus
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, and Monica Novii telemetry
- Experience with Meditech and CPN electronic medical records
- Skilled in AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler procedures
- Knowledge of oxytocin protocols and high-risk antepartum care
