**Job Description:**
- Position: L&D RN
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Block Schedules: No
**Qualifications:**
- **Years of Experience:**
- Minimum of 2 years required (HARD STOP)
- **Travel Experience Required:**
- Must be a seasoned traveler (HARD STOP, no exceptions)
- **Certifications (Preferred):**
- ACLS
- AWHONN Advanced*
- AWHONN Intermediate
- BLS
- NCC EFM Certification accepted in place of Intermediate AWHONN
- NRP
**Essential Skills:**
- **Medication & Administration:**
- Antihypertensives
- Insulin drips
- Magnesium Sulfate therapy
- **Labor and Delivery Management:**
- Assist with high-risk delivery
- Assist with vaginal delivery
- Circulate for C-section
- Perform sterile vaginal exams
- **Surgical Cases/Procedures:**
- Cervical Cerclage
- D & C
- **Work Settings:**
- High-Risk Antepartum
- Labor & Delivery
- **Fetal Monitoring Skills:**
- Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Use of External Fetal Monitoring
- **Antepartum Care and Procedures:**
- Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
**Scheduling Details:**
- Patient Ratios:
- Days: 1:1 or 2
- Nights: 1:1 or 2
- Weekends: 1:1 or 2
- **Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract:**
- Per hospital scheduling procedures
