**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Registered Nurse in Obstetrics!**
**Job Description:**
- Take the lead in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive nursing interventions for our patients.
- Deliver exceptional patient care aligned with established standards, protocols, and policies, ensuring every individual feels respected and valued.
- Facilitate impactful patient and family education tailored to unique learning needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to prepare patients and families for discharge, ensuring continuity of care.
- Showcase your leadership by delegating and supervising nursing interventions performed by team members.
- Prioritize patient care effectively, seeking assistance and resources when needed and recognizing emergency situations.
- Document all pertinent data and therapeutic interventions accurately and thoroughly in a timely manner.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with healthcare team members to promote seamless integration of services.
- Engage in continuous learning and growth, acting as a preceptor and attending professional development opportunities.
- Identify patient safety risks and seek ways to minimize medical errors, ensuring a safe environment.
- Tackle ethical issues in care proactively, developing appropriate plans to address them.
- Administer medications and IV therapy safely, following all protocols and physician orders.
- Assess and reassess patient pain levels, documenting responses and adjusting care as necessary.
- Provide specialized care for postpartum and gynecological patients while recognizing and addressing complications.
- Educate new mothers on essential newborn care and available resources to support them post-discharge.
- Demonstrate expertise in fetal monitoring and take appropriate actions when deviations occur.
- Participate in the stabilization and transfer of high-risk patients to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Effectively document and communicate any changes in clinical conditions to physicians.
- Support mothers in their chosen infant feeding methods; provide easy-to-understand techniques and educational resources.
- Perform systematic assessments of newborns, reacting promptly to any health issues or stabilization needs.
- Set up and monitor phototherapy and CPAP administration, ensuring the health of our tiniest patients.
- Uphold our standards by engaging in continued education and attaining necessary certifications.
