**Join Our Dynamic Critical Care Team as a Registered Nurse!**
**Job Description:**
- **Exciting Opportunities:** We are seeking passionate Registered Nurses for our Critical Care unit. With 3 open positions available, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients recovering from complex cardiovascular surgeries.
- **Shift Details:**
- Days: 7 AM - 7 PM
- **Essential Experience:**
- Strong background in post cardio thoracic surgery recovery directly from the OR.
- Familiarity with advanced technologies such as IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Artic Sun, TABLO XT/CRRT.
- Experience with high acuity patients who have multiple comorbidities and require intricate medication drips.
- Previous experience with the Epic electronic health record system is preferred.
- **Your Role:**
- Provide exceptional nursing care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring their effects.
- Document patient history, symptoms, treatments, and care provided.
- Educate patients and families, evaluating their learning needs and providing necessary resources.
- **Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- **Licenses/Certifications:**
- Current BLS certification (AHA only).
- Current ACLS certification (AHA only).
- RN License in Texas or compact state.
- **Position Requirements:**
- All experienced RNs must complete New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- New hires will be precepted and must successfully complete organizational and department-specific competency validations.
- Ongoing annual competency verification is required.
