Provide direct medical care for hospitalized patients including admissions, daily rounding, and discharges
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care
Collaborate closely with specialists, primary care providers, nurses, respiratory therapists, CRNAs, Emergency Medicine physicians, and ancillary services
Coordinate patient care plans and ensure smooth transitions of care
Order, interpret, and act on laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
Document all patient encounters, care plans, and outcomes thoroughly and timely in the EMR
Respond to medical emergencies including codes and rapid response situations
Provide ventilator management
Participate in clinical rounds and interdisciplinary meetings
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and medical ethics
No procedures required
Work with specialty backup including surgeons (for central lines), respiratory therapy, EM physicians, and CRNAs

Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $300,000 - $350,000 annually
