Job Details

Position: RN - Endoscopy
Location: Bakersfield
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 3x12
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay: $2600 to $2790

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
Prepare patients and procedure rooms for endoscopy cases
Administer medications and monitor patient sedation and recovery
Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery instructions

Requirements

Active RN License in California
Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy nursing experience
BLS and ACLS Certifications required
Moderate sedation experience preferred
Strong patient assessment and procedural care skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced procedural environments
Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
