Job Details

Position: RN - PCU
Location: Marion
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 3x12
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay: $1660 to $1860

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions to identify changes in status
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and specialized treatments as prescribed
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and quality care standards
Respond effectively to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition

Requirements

Active RN License in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, Telemetry, or Acute Care nursing experience
Current BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
Strong cardiac monitoring and patient assessment skills
Excellent critical thinking and clinical judgment abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced patient care environment
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
