Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients throughout their perioperative journey
- Monitor vital signs and manage complex post-operative recovery with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure seamless patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans and cardiac health management
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular surgery nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiovascular surgery protocols and post-operative care
- Telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia recognition
- Sterile technique and surgical instrumentation knowledge
- Patient education and family communication
