Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional recovery care to post-op patients in a fast-paced 30-bed PACU
- Monitor vital signs and manage 1:2 or 1:1 patient ratios with precision and compassion
- Assist with procedures like craniotomies and ortho surgeries ensuring smooth transitions
- Collaborate with a dedicated team including CNC/charge nurses to prioritize patient experience
- Respond promptly to on-call needs within 30 minutes, keeping everything running seamlessly
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience - no exceptions
Education
- RN degree from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Acute care hospital experience
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR system a plus
- Flexible with hours and on-call requirements
- Great attitude that thrives under pressure without stress
