We are currently seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) for a respected acute care hospital in Silverdale, Washington. This opportunity is ideal for respiratory professionals with strong critical care, ventilator management, and NICU experience who are passionate about delivering high-quality respiratory care across a diverse inpatient population.

Holiday Requirement: One Holiday During Assignment
On-Call Requirement: None
Floating: Not Required

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care services for adult and pediatric patients within the inpatient setting.
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
- Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilatory support and non-invasive ventilation.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis.
- Set up and manage BiPAP, CPAP, high-acuity respiratory support, and mechanical ventilation equipment.
- Administer aerosolized medications and nebulizer treatments.
- Assist physicians during intubation procedures and airway management.
- Provide respiratory support during conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures.
- Deliver care to neonatal patients requiring respiratory support, including Level II nursery patients.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the Epic electronic medical record system.
- Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and respiratory care best practices.

Requirements
- Active Washington Respiratory Therapist License
- Minimum 2 Years of Recent Respiratory Therapy Experience
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Current PALS Certification
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Strong Ventilator Management Experience
- NICU Experience Required
- Experience with Level II Nursery Care Required
- Ability to manage Bubble CPAP and neonatal patients beginning at 32 weeks gestation
- Experience with BiPAP, CPAP, and critical care respiratory equipment
- Strong inpatient acute care experience preferred
