Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to cardiovascular surgery patients throughout their perioperative journey
- Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure seamless procedures
- Monitor patients closely and respond swiftly to any changes in condition
- Maintain sterile technique and support a safe operating room environment
- Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery expectations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular operating room experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation
- Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during complex cases
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency with OR documentation and safety protocols
