Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate 1:1 labor support and active positioning to help families welcome their newest members
- Monitor fetal well-being using advanced GE equipment and deliver exceptional postpartum care
- Collaborate with residents and a dedicated anesthesia team in a teaching hospital environment
- Respond confidently to OB emergencies while maintaining our impressively low C-section rate
- Build meaningful connections with patients from admission through discharge in our beautiful Birth Care Suites
Qualifications
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of current acute care L&D experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and IFMC or AWHONN certifications required
- OR circulating experience and Spinning Babies training are a plus
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for patient-centered care
Knowledge & Skills
- Labor and delivery expertise with postpartum care knowledge
- Fetal monitoring and Alaris pump proficiency
- CPN and Meditech documentation experience
- Ability to manage OB emergencies and support low-risk births
