Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical Unit in Chino, California. This is a Per Diem opportunity ideal for nurses who are flexible, reliable, and able to confirm shifts on a daily basis. The facility is looking for a clinician with excellent attendance, strong patient care skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical patients
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Respond effectively to changes in patient condition
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and patient safety standards
Requirements
- Active California RN License
- Minimum recent acute care Medical-Surgical or Medical Unit experience preferred
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts
- Must be available to confirm shift assignments daily
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel or registry experience
- Experience working in fast-paced acute care settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems

- Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
- Per Diem Assignment
