**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Travel ER Registered Nurse!**
**Job Description:**
- Exciting opportunity for a skilled Travel ER RN to join us and make an impact!
- Start ASAP with a 13-week commitment.
- Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
- Chance to float between departments and be part of a collaborative team.
- 2+ years of ER experience is essential.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC.
- NRP certification preferred.
- Fingerprints needed for all New Mexico travelers — ensure your agency is registered for the process.
- Call requirement: Notify 2 hours prior to shift start.
- Work in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 4:1.
- Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantees are not approved.
- RTO blackout dates include 1 summer and 1 winter, depending on department needs.
- Max 1 RTO per schedule for 6-week planning.
- Mandatory floating across units.
- Dress code: Full uniform, no specific scrub color required.
- Familiarize yourself with MedHost (EDIS) for our electronic medical records.
**Responsibilities:**
- Deliver compassionate care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process.
- Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment to anticipate and plan for patient needs.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
- Delegate patient care tasks based on staff qualifications.
- Provide direction and supervision of personnel for optimal patient care delivery.
- Conduct thorough assessments and effectively communicate your findings.
- Administer medications proficiently and monitor for side effects.
- Stay organized with meticulous documentation of patient care activities.
- Uphold safety standards, infection control protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
