**Exciting Night Shift RN Opportunity in Hawaii!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a vibrant team on a **13-week night shift contract**.
- Work **36 hours per week** following an initial week of orientation.
- Enjoy the exciting challenge of working various shift lengths and days – **flexibility is key**!
- **No guarantee of hours or shift preference**, so embrace the unexpected for a dynamic experience!
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- **Experience**: 2+ years in a medical unit.
- **Certifications**:
- ACLS
- BLS/BCLS
**Essential Requirements:**
- Must **apply for a Hawaii License** upon acceptance of the offer—active license is required by the start date.
- **Proof of flu vaccination** or an approved medical/religious exception required before contract start date.
- Flu vaccines can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.
**Unit Details:**
- **Unit Type**: Medical Unit with a **77-bed capacity**.
- **Patient Ratio**:
- 1:6 for days and evenings
- 1:8 for nights
- **Floating Opportunities**: Potential to float to Laulima Unit or Cardiovascular Unit.
**Job Duties**:
- Engage in general nursing duties with a focus on a wide variety of procedures.
- Utilize equipment such as:
- Meditech EMR
- Pyxis
- Wound vac
- Chest tubes
**Dress Code**: Professional nursing attire required.
**Training**: Comprehensive department-specific training and orientation program provided.
