**Exciting Nursing Opportunity in Pain Management**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic team in an engaging clinical setting focused on pain procedures.
- Utilize your expertise in Pre Op, OR, and PACU to provide exceptional patient care.
- Take part in routine and complex care while developing long-term clinical goals.
- Embrace your role as a competent nurse and make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead yourself and others while meeting OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
- Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address diverse psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and offer education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
**Education/Skills:**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
**Experience:**
- 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
**Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:**
- BLS certification required.
- RN License in state of employment or compact required.
**Work Schedule:**
- 4 Days - 10 Hours
