**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Team as a Registered Nurse!**
**Job Description:**
- **Exciting Opportunity:** Coordinate and implement individualized patient care plans in a fast-paced emergency room environment.
- **Critical Role:** Utilize your prioritization, critical thinking, and decisive judgment to optimize patient outcomes and resource management.
- **Collaborative Care:** Work alongside a dynamic healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care, including transfers, discharges, and offering spiritual and psychosocial support.
- **Effective Communication:** Identify and address barriers to communication based on psychosocial, literacy, financial, and cultural considerations.
- **Empower Patients:** Evaluate learning needs and provide tailored education to patients and their families based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- **Team Leadership:** Delegate patient care effectively and mentor student nurses and new hires.
- **Professional Standards:** Adhere to the ANA Code of Ethics and state Nurse Practice Act while showcasing a caring attitude and fostering therapeutic relationships.
- **Positive Representation:** Uphold the values of our organization and maintain effective verbal and written communication with patients, staff, and vendors.
- **Continuous Learning:** Complete annual education and training, actively participating in departmental and organizational meetings.
- **Safety First:** Follow all infection control, safety, and risk management procedures to ensure a secure environment for patients and staff.
- **Confidentiality Commitment:** Maintain strict patient confidentiality at all times and manage time effectively to fulfill responsibilities.
**Qualifications:**
- **Age Requirement:** Must be at least 18 years of age.
- **Legally Authorized:** Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- **Background Check:** Successful completion of a background check is required.
- **Pre-employment Screening:** Must pass a drug screen and alcohol test if applicable.
**Education and Certification Requirements:**
- **Nursing License:** Current and active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact license.
- **BLS Certification:** Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
- **ACLS Certification:** Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (to be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- **PALS/ENPC Certification:** Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification (to be obtained within 1 year of hire).
- **TNCC Certification:** Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (to be obtained within 1 year of hire).
- **STABLE Certification:** Current STABLE certification (to be obtained within 1 year of hire).
- **NRP Certification:** Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (to be obtained within 1 year of hire).
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
**Experience:**
- **Required:** Two (2) years of hospital nursing experience.
- **Preferred:** One (1) year of Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care Nursing experience.
