First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Detroit, Michigan.

Travel CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

📍 Detroit, MI
⏳ 13-Week Contract

Schedule Options

Choose the schedule that works best for you:

Five 8-hour shifts
Four 10-hour shifts
Three 12-hour shifts

Shift start time: 6:00 AM

Examples:

6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
6:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Call Requirements

48 hours of call every 6-week schedule period
Must be available for one weekend of call per month

Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients
Circulate and assist during complex cardiac procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff
Monitor patient safety and maintain sterile technique
Perform patient assessments and documentation
Deliver patient and family education throughout the surgical process

Requirements

✅ Active Michigan RN License
✅ BLS Certification
✅ Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
✅ Recent Operating Room Experience Required
✅ Cardiac Scrub Experience Required
✅ Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
Previous CVOR travel experience
Experience with open-heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures
