**Join Our Dynamic Nursing Team: Float RN - Night Shift Opportunity!**
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** New Mexico (Current RN license or Compact state license required)
- **Shift:** Nights - 7 PM to 7 AM
- **Start:** ASAP
- **Weekend Requirement:** Yes
- **On Call Requirement:** No
- **Floating Requirement:** Yes (various units)
- **EMR Used:** EPIC (REQUIRED)

- Engage in health education and discharge planning with patients and families.
- Execute timely interventions based on patient needs.
- Conduct various Point of Care testing procedures.
**Teamwork & Communication:**
- Utilize effective communication strategies for successful patient outcomes.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Coordinate team assignments and adjust based on unit and patient needs.
- Act as a resource for staff, visitors, and physicians to promote a supportive atmosphere.
- Participate in training and orienting new staff, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
**Customer Relations:**
- Drive high levels of patient satisfaction through compassionate care.
- Respect patient rights and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Contribute to a positive image and integrity of the organization.
- Support continuous service improvement and uphold hospital mission and goals.
**Additional Responsibilities:**
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Adapt to changes in the work environment or schedule with a positive attitude.
- Maintain professional development and growth.
- Comply with all policies and procedures to ensure patient and environmental safety.
- Communicate absences in advance to maintain positive attendance.
**Requirements:**
- **Education:** Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- **Certification/Licenses:**
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA).
- *Additional certifications may be required based on float units.*
- **Skills:**
- Knowledge and skills relevant to the patient population.
- Sensitivity to patient rights during care delivery.
- Clear and concise communication, tailored to patient developmental ages.
