**Exciting Opportunity for a Cath Lab Registered Nurse!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced Cath Lab environment!
- Shift: Day 3x10-Hour (07:00 - 18:00)
- Initial schedule: Monday to Wednesday
- Potential to increase to 4x10 or 5x8 as caseload builds
- Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 years as a Registered Nurse
- Community Hospital experience is a must
- Travel experience required
- Licensure:
- Active CA RN License required
- Certifications:
- Required: BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC)
- Preferred: NIHSS, Moderate Sedation
- Skills:
- End-Tidal CO2 monitoring
- Activated Clotting Time (ACT)
- Circulating procedures and monitoring
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE
- Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Familiarity with laser-assisted procedures and safety protocols
- Sheath removal and monitoring
- Experience in vascular studies and procedures
- Patient Care:
- Servicing adults with vascular surgery needs
- Daily census: 8 patients
- Average visits per day: 0
- Special Procedures include:
- Diagnostic Angiograms
- Lower extremity angioplasty
- Stent placement
- Fistulagrams
- Work Settings:
- Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab
- Interventional Radiology
- Pre-Post Procedure areas
- Special Procedures
- Orientation:
- 12 hours of orientation required
- Flexibility:
- Schedule flexibility is essential
- Floating required to different units as needed
- No call requirements
