MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH) seeks a Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team in Biddeford. In this dynamic role, you'll serve as the primary psychiatric consultant to the Emergency Department and medical/surgical units, working closely with crisis clinicians, hospitalists, and ED providers to evaluate patients and guide timely, effective behavioral health care. This position offers diverse clinical exposure, academic collaboration, and seamless integration with outpatient and inpatient behavioral health services-including access to ECT, partial hospitalization, and ACT programs. Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School. Completion of internship and psychiatric residency and/or fellowship training. Current or eligible license as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or be eligible for examination by the American Board as documented Board Certified or board eligible in general psychiatry. Current DEA Registration Certificate. 3+ years' experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training preferred.
