Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location in Middletown, RI. This opportunity is in a skilled nursing facility setting and will involve working with a varied patient population to support functional independence and discharge goals.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Active Rhode Island Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
Demonstrated proficiency with ADL/IADL training, adaptive equipment recommendations, and documentation in electronic health records preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
Experience with restorative nursing programs and fall prevention strategies preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
Shift Pattern: 5x8.
