Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
Active Pennsylvania SLP license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience providing SLP services in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is required.
Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment and with documentation in electronic medical records is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with instrumental assessments such as FEES or modified barium swallow is preferred.
Previous travel therapy experience is preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift Hours: 08:00–16:30.
Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.

You will collaborate with nursing, therapy colleagues, and facility leadership to implement individualized plans of care and measurable outcomes.

Location Highlights

Chambersburg offers convenient access to regional parks and historic downtown amenities. The town is within 30 minutes of state recreation at Caledonia State Park and about 25 miles from the Antietam National Battlefield. Chambersburg is located along major routes with driving access to Harrisburg and Baltimore within roughly 1 to 1.5 hours.
