Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Georgia Physical Therapist license required prior to the start of assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant outpatient orthopedic or general outpatient physical therapy experience preferred. This site will not accept first-time travelers.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
- Ability to manage a daily patient census of approximately 10–15 patients with 30-minute treatment intervals and occasional 60-minute complex evaluations.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Outpatient hospital-affiliated rehabilitation clinic.
- Shift Days: Monday - Friday.
- Shift Type: Normal business hours.
- Typical Shift Times: 5x8 or 4x10 schedules; clinic may determine consistent day off for duration of assignment.
- Standard Hours Per Week: 40.
- Patient Population: General orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures.
- Orientation: New Employee Orientation plus 5 days departmental orientation.
- Department Support: Team consists of approximately 2 therapists, 1 office coordinator, and 1 rehab aide.
- Scheduling: No weekend rotation, no on-call requirements, no holiday expectations.
- Uniform/Parking: Polos provided; free parking on site.
