Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a skilled nursing facility in Stockton, CA.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
Demonstrated ability to complete evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress for older adult populations preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
Experience with adaptive equipment, ADL training, and fall prevention programs preferred.

Assignment Details

Shift hours: 0800-1630.
Work days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
35 guaranteed hours per week.
May be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing environment. Contribute to care plans, interdisciplinary team meetings, and discharge planning. Support functional independence and safe transitions for older adults.
