About the Position Position Overview

One of our Partners in North Carolina is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a

short-term outpatient oncology assignment

in a specialized symptom management clinic.

This role is ideal for providers with oncology experience who prefer a

structured schedule with no call and focused patient care .

$110/hour (~$5,200/week)

Monday–Friday schedule

No call or weekend responsibilities

Outpatient oncology setting

Academic medical center environment

Assignment Highlights

6-week assignment (May–July)

100% outpatient oncology care

No call / no weekends

Located within a

Level I Trauma, 974-bed academic medical center

Dedicated

12-bed Symptom Management Clinic

Manage chemotherapy-related side effects

EPIC EMR

Orientation required (day prior to first shift)

Malpractice insurance covered

HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency

Active member of NALTO

Job Responsibilities

Provide care for oncology patients experiencing acute treatment-related symptoms, including:

Nausea / vomiting

Dehydration

Fever

Medication reactions

Evaluate and treat patients in outpatient setting

Respond to infusion-related reactions in nearby suite

Collaborate with oncology physicians and care teams

Document in EPIC
