• Specialty: PA - Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Reading, PA • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri; 630a-3p • Call Schedule: 24-hr Call; 7a-7a - Weekends • Call Coverage: Emergent OR, Cath Lab & bedside • Call Type: Beeper • Call Ratio: 1:2 • Call Response Time: 30 mins • Callback %: 25% • Patient Volume: 5 • Admissions: Yes • Rounding included: Yes • CV/CT Surgeon in Group: 4 • Support Staff: 1 Office Staff • Procedures: - CABG EVH and open vessel harvesting - TAVR, TACR, Vascular surgery, ECMO • Duties: - Must be independent with endoscopic and vessel harvesting including radial - Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation and draping - Assist the surgeon in the surgical procedure, including but not limited - Assist with invasive procedures as described above - Performs therapeutic procedures as directed by the surgeon, including but not limited - Assist the surgeon in preoperative care and workup of patients • EMR: Cerner • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements: • Active PA License • BC/BE • BLS • Expertise in Vessel Harvesting • Must have Arterial Vein Harvesting experience
