Financial Analyst (FP&A / Analytics Focus) We’re partnering with a growing organization in the Charlotte market that is expanding its finance team as part of a broader internal re-structure. This is a newly created role offering strong visibility and the opportunity to work closely with leadership on financial insights and decision support. Position Overview This role will sit within the FP&A function and focus heavily on data analysis, financial modeling, and business insights. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of finance and analytics experience, with a strong ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities Analyze financial and operational data to support business decision-making Build and maintain financial models and reporting tools Support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis processes Partner cross-functionally to provide insights into performance trends and KPIs Assist with improving reporting processes and driving automation/efficiencies Contribute to the development of dashboards and analytics tools to enhance visibility Qualifications 2+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or analytics-related roles Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling Experience working with ERP and/or financial reporting systems Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI preferred, not required) Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Preferred Experience Experience working in a data-driven or high-growth environment Familiarity with cloud-based ERP or planning tools Interest in leveraging emerging technologies / AI tools within finance Key Traits for Success Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure Outgoing, collaborative personality with strong communication skills Forward-thinking and eager to improve processes Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
