BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist, PA license or IMLC with LOQ, Child Abuse and Pain Management Education (Pennsylvania requirement)

Experience:

Prior hematology/oncology experience preferred

Hourly Rate:

$1.00 (discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do

Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consultation and follow-up care in a modern practice setting

Conduct hospital rounds and patient consults on assigned weeks (Mon-Sun, including weekends)

Oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Participate in tumor boards, radiation oncology sessions, and liaise with infusion RNs and navigators

Manage urgent and critical patient issues outside of clinic hours as needed

Maintain documentation and coordinate patient continuity of care in a consultative capacity

Travel to outlying clinic in Somerset (if needed) to serve additional patient locations

What You Need

Active PA medical license or IMLC with LOQ (Pennsylvania state requirement compliance)

BE/BC in Hematology and Oncology

Ability to complete mandated state training in child abuse recognition and pain management

Minimum of 2+ years of relevant clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative environment

The practice includes a dedicated team of medical professionals and support staff committed to quality patient outcomes. The role involves outpatient consults, hospital rounds, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, with no hospital admissions expected.
