About the Position Responsibilities Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons in the diagnosis and treatment of various musculoskeletal conditions. Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care in both the clinic and hospital settings. Function as a first-assist during surgical procedures and manage pre-operative and post-operative care. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies, to develop and implement supervised treatment plans. Perform office-based procedures such as joint injections and other orthopedic-related interventions. Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, rehabilitation protocols, and recovery expectations. Maintain precise and timely documentation within the medical record and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Ensure continuity of care by coordinating with nursing staff, rehabilitation teams, and ancillary departments. Qualifications & Credentialing Education & Certification:

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible. If board eligible, the date of graduation must be provided. Experience:

A minimum of two years of Physician Assistant experience in primary care or a relevant specialty is highly preferred. Please note that candidates with less than one year of experience cannot be considered at this time. Licensure:

A current Vermont PA-C License is required, or a willingness to obtain one prior to starting. Required Documentation:

A most recent NPDB Self Query Report (completed within the last 30 days) is required at the time of presentation. Certifications:

Current CPR for Healthcare Providers and DEA registration are required prior to the start date. Submission Requirement:

Candidates must not have applied directly to the facility previously. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and move between sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
