**Join Our Dynamic Cath Lab Team as a Registered Nurse!**
**Job Description:**
- Are you passionate about making a difference in patient care?

**Position Highlights:**
- **Shift**: 4 - 10 hour shifts, 0700 - 1730, plus on-call responsibilities.
- **Start**: ASAP
**Required Certifications/Licenses:**
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license.
- BLS Certification from AHA is mandatory.
**Weekend & On-Call Requirements:**
- Be available for on-call duties: 1-2 weekends per month, totaling 8-10 days monthly.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct initial assessments and prioritize patient care based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
- Reassess patients to identify trends requiring intervention.
- Develop individualized care plans that are measurable and timely.
- Make informed nursing decisions and adapt care plans as necessary.
- Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients and their significant others.
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures accurately.
- Utilize effective communication strategies to achieve team goals.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure the completion of necessary patient care activities.
- Act as a resource to visitors, physicians, and staff, promoting a welcoming and professional environment.
- Foster a collaborative team atmosphere to meet organizational goals.
**Customer Relations:**
- Create a high level of patient satisfaction by respecting their rights, needs, and confidentiality.
- Maintain strong communication and teamwork to enhance workplace harmony.
- Uphold the hospital's integrity and positive image through your actions.
**Other Responsibilities:**
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Exhibit flexibility and adapt readily to changes in work environment.
- Commit to professional growth and development, ensuring compliance with all policies.
- Maintain positive attendance and communicate any absences in advance.
**Requirements:**
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current knowledge and skills relevant to the patient population served.
- Clear communication skills, tailored to the developmental age of patients.
