Nurse Practice Coordinator RN Full Time Days

Responsible for coordinating activities which promote excellence in nursing. This includes evaluation, analysis, and process improvement within the nursing department, as well as assuring compliance with regulation and accreditation process. This role supports nursing by serving as a resource to coordinate policy/procedure review and revisions, as needed. Provide oversight of policy management software; provide support and assistance for hospitals and departments in the Oklahoma Community who utilize this software. Assist with nursing projects as directed by the CNO. Participates on and understands electronic health records and informatics practice for nursing. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or actively enrolled in an accredited program. Enrollment in MSN program or related healthcare program within 3 years of hire. Licensure: RN with current unrestricted license in the state of practice. Experience: Minimum of 3 years clinical hospital experience. Certification/Registration: None. Preferred Education: MSN, DNP, PhD (or comparable) in nursing related field. Preferred Certification/Registration: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Informatics Nurse. Proficient in computer/software programs, such as Word, Excel, EPIC, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.
