You’ll work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active—under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment. BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC. Prior outpatient physical therapy experience is required, including treatment of musculoskeletal and post-surgical patients. Experience with common outpatient modalities and interventions including therapeutic exercise, gait training with assistive devices, hot/cold packs, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. Demonstrated competency in safe patient handling, body mechanics instruction, and documentation of patient progress in outpatient electronic medical records. Ability to follow established treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist and to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members. Preferred: Experience with therapeutic pool, paraffin, and advanced outpatient equipment. Preferred: Prior travel or contract outpatient clinic experience.

Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient. Shift Pattern: 5x8. Duration: 13 Week assignment. Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other clinic locations as needed.
