Banner University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) seeks board-certified/board-eligible academic Hospitalists to join our distinguished Division of Hospital Medicine. As Arizona‘s largest academic medical center with over 650 beds, BUMCP serves as a Level I trauma and transplant center, providing exceptional opportunities for clinical excellence, teaching, and scholarly work.

Position Highlights
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Manage high-acuity patients with multidisciplinary support
- Work alongside advanced practice providers
- Shift-based schedule: 15 twelve-hour shifts per month
- Night shift position
Academic Opportunities:
- Faculty appointment with the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix
- Direct teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students
- Participation in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Support for scholarly activities and research

Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO degree
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine
- Eligible for medical licensure in Arizona
- Commitment to academic medicine and teaching excellence
Preferred:
- Experience in academic or teaching hospital settings
- Track record in medical education, quality improvement, or research
- Leadership experience or clinician-educator background
- Experience collaborating with advanced practice providers
- Spanish language proficiency
