Banner University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) seeks board-certified/board-eligible academic Hospitalists to join our distinguished Division of Hospital Medicine. As Arizona‘s largest academic medical center with over 650 beds, BUMCP serves as a Level I trauma and transplant center, providing exceptional opportunities for clinical excellence, teaching, and scholarly work.

Position Highlights
Clinical Responsibilities:
* Provide inpatient care in a collaborative, team-based environment
* Manage high-acuity patients with multidisciplinary support
* Work alongside advanced practice providers
* Shift-based schedule: 15 twelve-hour shifts per month
* Night shift position
Academic Opportunities:
* Faculty appointment with the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix
* Direct teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students
* Participation in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
* Support for scholarly activities and research
* Leadership development pathways
Qualifications
Required:
* MD or DO degree
* Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Hospital Medicine
* Eligible for medical licensure in Arizona
* Commitment to academic medicine and teaching excellence
Preferred:
* Experience in academic or teaching hospital settings
* Track record in medical education, quality improvement, or research
* Leadership experience or clinician-educator background
* Experience collaborating with advanced practice providers
* Spanish language proficiency
