The medical center focuses on expanding its cardiothoracic surgery program to meet increasing patient demands. About the Facility Location This area features regional attractions, outdoor recreation opportunities, and year-round activities. The region offers access to museums, theaters, and various recreational activities. Illinois provides connections to state parks and historical sites throughout the area. About the Clinician's Workday The physician associate will primarily assist with cardiothoracic surgery cases in the operating room with additional responsibility for inpatient and ICU management. The clinician will work day shifts with negotiable call requirements and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care. The position requires prescriptive authority for comprehensive patient management. EVH experience is beneficial but not required for this growing program.
