Position Summary:
ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate PCU / Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 36 hours per week contract in Leonardtown, MD. Job Requirements:
Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
2 years of experience required
Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment
Every other weekend coverage required
Float required to Tele and/or MS as needed
2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required
No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
RTO must be included at the time of submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review
Amount of RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract
Must have either a compact license or an MD license
Must provide two (2) supervisory references, including one from the most recent assignment
Candidates are assigned facility-and unit-specific Sitel modules upon hire, which must be completed within one week of signing their contract
Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing
Nurses with previous MedStar employment must have been separated for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler
Distance Requirements
Local candidates must reside within 60 miles to be considered at a lower rate
Other Required Documentation:
Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
Two current clinical references
Physical exam (completed within the past 12 months)
TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
Must pass background check and drug screening
