Position Summary:
ATC Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 40 hours per week contract in Washington, DC. Job Requirements:
2 years minimum experience required
1 previous travel assignment required
BLS certification required
Active DC RN license required at submission
Neuro/Spine Case experience required
Experience with appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair (inguinal/umbilical), laparoscopic assisted procedures, scrub in general OR, whipple, and thyroidectomy (partial/total) required
2 supervisory references required
Must support at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years
No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
RTO must be included at submission and cannot be changed once sent for review
No more than 7 days of RTO permitted per 13-week contract
Candidates must complete the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam and achieve at least an 80% overall score
Must complete facility-and unit-specific Sitel modules within one week of signing contract
Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing
Candidates must live within 60 miles of the facility
Candidate's address must match their driver's license for local status

Other Required Documentation:
Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
Two current clinical references
Physical exam (completed within the past 12 months)
TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
Must pass background check and drug screening
