Opportunity:
RN - NICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage as needed
• First to float when required
• Work in Level IV NICU with 61 beds across 24 rooms
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE Certification
• BSN degree required
• Experience requirements: 2 years if only NICU experience, 1 year if other RN experience
• Care for premature infants 22 weeks and above, respiratory distress patients, surgical patients, and feeder/growers
• Titrate medications including Morphine, Dopamine, and Epinephrine
• Work with respiratory equipment including Drager, Servo, HFJV, HFOV, NAVA, CPAP, and Nasal Cannula
• May float to Pediatrics, PICU, Nursery, or Mother Baby units with proper orientation
• Hospital blue scrubs or personal scrubs required
• 2 shifts of unit orientation plus 1 shift with educator for standards review
• Use EPIC charting system
• Four shift cancellation limit per 13-week assignment
• No self-scheduling - scheduler coordinates with traveler
• Maximum of 5 consecutive shifts
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius from facility
