Job Details:
• Work in Level II NICU at Pacific Campus (Pavilion for Women and Children)
• 2 years of Level III NICU experience required
• Travel experience required - first-timers not accepted
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 4 weekend shifts required in a 4-week schedule
• Float required to Family Maternity Center/Postpartum (babies only)
• Guaranteed hours with potential to be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2-week period
• Required certifications: BCLS, NRP
• Experience with patients 22 weeks gestation and greater
• Care for neonates with prematurity, BPD, and nutritional risk alterations
• Perform ROP exams (no surgeries, ostomies, or trachs)
• Work with conventional ventilators, oscillators, bubble CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and nasal cannula
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Any scrub color permitted except reddish orange
• 12-hour orientation provided
• WA license in-hand required for RN positions

This healthcare organization operates as a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across multiple campuses. The facility features a comprehensive Pavilion for Women and Children offering maternity services and Level II NICU care. The organization provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. The facility maintains modern equipment and offers facility-paid parking for staff.
