Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts starting as soon as possible
• 2 years of experience required with at least 100 patients per day and 4:1 patient ratios
• First-time travelers accepted
• No on-call responsibilities required
• Float required within scope to meet facility needs
• Weekend shifts required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Patient ratios of 4:1 during nights and weekends
• Must be experienced with high-volume emergency department seeing at least 95 patients per day
• Care for all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, triage, and procedural sedation
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• All requested time off must be included in submittal
• Local travelers within 50 miles of facility not eligible
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Completion of non-billable modules averaging 16 hours required pre-start

This emergency department operates as a high-volume facility with 22 rooms and 30 beds, handling approximately 95 patient visits daily. The facility provides comprehensive emergency care for all age groups and maintains interdisciplinary support services including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries. The department utilizes Epic charting system and maintains experienced nursing staff to handle complex emergency cases.
