Opportunity:
RN - Medical Surgical
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day and night rotating shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday
• Minimum 2 years recent medical surgical experience required, preferably in larger hospital (200+ beds) and level 2 or higher trauma center
• Travel experience required unless multiple years of experience in large level 1 facility
• Care for medical surgical patients and surgical oncology patients
• Maintain 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on day shift and 6:1 on night shift
• Float to any medical surgical unit on any campus as needed
• Work in 47-bed department utilizing EPIC charting system
• Required to badge in and out at facility
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Equipment includes EMR-Epic, AccuDose, bladder scanner, Phillips monitors, and telemetry
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Active North Dakota or compact state RN license required
• EPIC experience required
• Surgical oncology experience preferred but not required
• Cannot accept travelers living within 60-mile radius of facility
• Orientation includes 1 day lead center training and 2 twelve-hour shifts with preceptor
