Opportunity:
Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Job Details:
• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Monday through Friday schedule only (no weekends required)
• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust nursing care processes as indicated
• Consult with other specialists and ancillary departments as required
• Provide care that meets psychosocial, physical and general aspects of patient needs
• Communicate with ED physicians about changes in patient status and diagnostic results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
• Meet communication needs of patients and families
• Maintain professional expectations with initiative and responsibility
• Must have current Registered Nurse license within the State of Illinois
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, TNCC and/or TNS
