POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment skills, the ability to prioritize multiple patient needs, and experience managing a wide range of emergency and critical care situations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels.
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to physician orders and established protocols.
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Operate and monitor emergency department equipment and technology.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection prevention protocols.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Current BLS certification.
ACLS certification required.
Emergency Department nursing experience required.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
