Opportunity:
RN - Medical Surgical Stroke Stepdown
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required as needed
• Navy blue scrub color required
• 2+ years of medical surgical experience with stroke stepdown experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS (can be obtained prior to start)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification
• Work with specialty equipment including IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
• Care for adult patients with common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal conditions, dialysis patients, COPD, CHF, isolation patients, general medical surgical conditions, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
• Work in a 64-bed unit caring for stroke stepdown patients
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
